The Krewe of Black & Gold’s Spirit of Louisiana Jazz Funeral & Second Line is presented in memory of those who perished during shutdowns when funerals were not permitted, and in honor of the many front line workers whose selflessness and dedication brought us through difficult times. It’s also a tribute to and showcase of New Orleans’ culture bearers and the historic culture and tradition of Jazz Funerals and Second Lines.
